Sea Ranch Residence was built by Turnbull Griffin Haesloop. The building was built with the concept of natural scenery. Outside area around the building there are many pine trees that grow with shade and orderly. Energy and natural shades will go into the house to form elements of the natural living room. On the whole concept of houses made with wood is inspired by Japanese houses full of character with simplicity.
The elements of the existing wood on existing homes and interiors in each room will make the house look more elegant and beautiful. The architect strategy as the solution for this order is starts with a vernacular barn form and carves away to shape an exterior octagonal deck which is opens to the meadow and the view. A continuous band of the windows and the doors is follows the outline of the cutout to capture the panoramic views. The cedar ceilings and the sheetrock walls is creates a clean minimalist interior, and the window wall is features the exposed wood framing and structural steel.
